What Makes Tavern League Unique
Tavern League of Colorado is a non-profit organization committed to serving the needs of on-premise beverage operators. The League advocates on behalf of members to improve business conditions and provide a larger voice regarding issues affecting our industry. By using the collective strength of our membership, we are able to accomplish, as a group, goals that cannot be accomplished alone. We act as a valuable resource to impart information on state regulations, legislative issues and procedures for operating a business, etc.
All of the other retail trade associations in Colorado allow alcohol beverage wholesalers or suppliers to be members or sponsors of their associations, we do not. Our Board feels that allowing their membership creates a potential of conflict of interest on many issues, such as Trade Practice laws. While we want to have a partnership with other industry members on many issues of common interest, we also want to insure that our principal obligation is to the on-premise industry.
